Anybody just randomly throw a vise on your machine and eyeball it, snug it up. And you indicate it an it's like with in .001? Making sure indicator isn't maxed out or not touching weird?

Like setting up a Valve wedge by Eye Ball and throwing the indicator on it and its Dead Nuts. Or throwing a piece of stock in the Saw and its exactly where it needs to be Spot on on the needed length. I am retired now but in my 50 years it happened a few times”
